Hi all! I've been volunteering digitally with LepakInSG, and it's been an awesome journey. We recently organised an online campaign to raise awareness about plastic pollution. As an art student, I organised an online art workshop for kids from underprivileged backgrounds. It was incredible to see their creativity come to life through their drawings and paintings. 🌟 We also had a virtual showcase where the kids could present their artwork to their families and friends. The smiles on their faces were priceless. 😊 If you're passionate about arts and culture, I highly recommend joining their volunteer programs. You get to make a real difference while having a blast!
I’ve been volunteering with CARE Singapore’s helpline, and it’s been an incredibly rewarding experience. 📞❤️ We provide support and guidance to at-risk youths, and it feels great knowing that our conversations can make a real difference in their lives. The training provided by CARE was top-notch, and I’ve learned so much about active listening and providing empathetic support.
